About Andrew T.
Andrew T. Geisler built a path to law that began in the sciences. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Connecticut in 2011, studying biological sciences and sociology. The combination of those subjects shaped an interest in how technical facts and social context intersect in legal problems. He went on to earn his J.D. from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in 2016.
During law school he took positions that put him inside courtrooms and public defense offices. In 2015 he served as a judicial intern at New Rochelle City Court. Earlier, in 2014, he worked as a legal intern at the Albany Public Defender’s Office. Those roles exposed him to courtroom procedures and case preparation early in his career, and they informed the practical approach he brought to subsequent client work.
After law school he entered practice and, by 2020, was listed as a lawyer at Nave Law Office. His career to date includes both courtroom-facing roles and behind-the-scenes legal work. He maintains memberships in the State Bar of New York and the New York State Bar Association, reflecting his activity within the professional community in the state where he is licensed.
Geisler’s undergraduate studies in biological sciences and sociology remain part of his professional identity. That background gives him a perspective on cases that involve technical evidence or social dynamics. Paired with his time in public defense and a judicial internship, it has shaped a measured, evidence-oriented approach to evaluating client matters and developing legal strategy.
Colleagues and clients describe him as methodical in preparing records and straightforward when explaining options. He has experience compiling legal research, drafting court filings and supporting litigation work. The mix of classroom training, internship experience and practice at Nave Law Office informs how he assesses risk and communicates next steps to those he represents.
He practices in New York and keeps active ties to state bar organizations. At Nave Law Office he continues to handle client matters and courtroom appearances, applying the practical lessons from his internships and education. He concentrates his practice on client representation at Nave Law Office.
