About Andrew S.

Andrew S. Trexler began his path to law after completing undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and Anthropology in 2002. He continued his education at the University of Houston Law Center and received his J.D. in 2007. Those formative years combined a liberal arts background with formal legal training and shaped the way he approaches both factual detail and human circumstance in his work.

Trexler entered practice in 2007, taking a position at Allott Immigration Law. That early experience placed him in the day-to-day work of immigration matters and gave him exposure to the procedural and client-service demands of the field. In 2009 he moved to the Law Offices of Sharon W. Grossenbach, where he served as senior associate and managing lawyer. That role broadened his responsibilities and introduced management duties alongside casework.

In 2014 he established his own practice, operating as the Law Office of Andrew S. Trexler, PC. As managing lawyer there, he directed the firm’s operations and client services. Over the years he has maintained active ties to both immigration and bankruptcy-related practice areas. He is admitted to practice before the courts of Colorado and the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.

His professional memberships reflect the range of his work. He belongs to the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Lawyers. He is also a member of the Colorado Bar Association and Colorado Bankruptcy Professionals, Inc. Those associations keep him connected to developments in immigration law and consumer bankruptcy practice and to peers who handle similar caseloads.

Colleagues describe him as pragmatic in approaching case work. He brings courtroom and administrative experience to matters that may require petitions, filings or negotiations. His background in immigration law has involved petitions and applications that intersect with federal procedures. His bankruptcy practice involves consumer filings and related client counseling.

Outside the office he has drawn on his undergraduate studies to consider the cultural and personal contexts that often accompany legal problems. That perspective informs how he assesses client goals and available remedies.

He currently practices at The Law Office of Andrew S Trexler, PC, representing clients in immigration and consumer bankruptcy matters.
