About Andrew Ritchie
Andrew Ritchie Rehmeyer earned his law degree from Villanova University School of Law in 2007. He completed the rigorous course of study there and entered the Pennsylvania legal community shortly afterward. His time at Villanova provided the foundation for courtroom work and civil litigation practice that would shape his early career.
He started his professional life at Donnelly & Associates in 2007 as an insurance defense lawyer. That role placed him on the defense side of civil claims, where he handled litigation tasks, managed case files and worked directly with insurers and adjusters. Those first years introduced him to the rhythms of depositions, briefs and motion practice.
In 2013 he took on the role of managing partner at Rehmeyer & Allatt. As managing partner he has overseen firm operations while continuing to carry a caseload. The position expanded his responsibilities beyond individual files to include administrative duties and mentoring younger lawyers at the firm.
Rehmeyer has been active in local and state bar groups for much of his career. He joined the Pennsylvania Bar Association in 2012 and has been a member since. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, the Centre County Bar Association and the Central Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, each listing membership beginning in 2013 and continuing to the present. Those memberships reflect regular engagement with the trial bar and local legal community.
Colleagues describe him as practical and detail-oriented in handling litigation work. He has experience on insurance defense matters from his early career, and now navigates both sides of civil disputes at the firm level. His involvement in trial organizations suggests ongoing courtroom activity and an interest in preserving trial skills. He has combined casework with firm management, balancing client representation and the business side of running a practice.
Rehmeyer practices in Pennsylvania and operates out of Rehmeyer & Allatt. He is currently concentrating his practice on civil litigation and insurance-related matters in the state.
