Andrew Peter Rausch Jr. is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1987 and holds bar number 127930. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Rausch is the principal attorney at the Law Offices of A. Peter Rausch, Jr., a professional corporation based in Lodi, California. The firm also maintains offices in San Francisco and Aptos, serving clients throughout California and across the United States.
Mr. Rausch earned his Juris Doctor degree from the McGeorge School of Law at the University of the Pacific in 1986. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the College of the Pacific, University of the Pacific, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy in 1981. During his time at McGeorge School of Law, he developed a strong foundation in legal principles that have guided his extensive legal career.
Mr. Rausch concentrates his practice in the areas of complex business and commercial litigation, intellectual property, and general business counseling. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving agriculture, commercial manufacturing, communication, construction, direct sales and marketing, education, entertainment and the arts, equipment leasing, health care, hospitality, import/export sales, internet services, investment banking, property management, publishing, real estate investment and development, renewable power, software development, various technologies, transportation, viticulture, and website design and development. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Rausch has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of San Joaquin, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in Stockton for several years.
Mr. Rausch is an active member of the American Bar Association, the California State Bar Association, the San Joaquin County Bar Association, the San Francisco County Bar Association, and the Santa Cruz County Bar Association. He has been recognized as an AV Preeminent® attorney by Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™ and has been named a Super Lawyer® from 2023 to 2025. Mr. Rausch is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of California effectively.
