About Andrew Huynh
Andrew Huynh Tran began his academic path at the University of California, Irvine, where he earned a B.A. in Criminology, Law, and Society in 2008 after beginning studies in 2004. He continued legal training at Whittier Law School and received his J.D. in 2013, having taken coursework in family law, bankruptcy and taxation during his time there.
Tran moved into practice shortly after law school. He served as a law clerk at Hargreaves & Taylor, LLP in 2014 and that same year accepted an associate position at Farkhad & Wang, APLC. The next phase of his career involved a series of associate roles at several Southern California firms. In 2015 he worked at Wilkinson & Finkbeiner, LLP, Claery & Green, LLP, and The Fullman Firm. He later joined Holstrom, Block, & Parke, APLC as an associate in 2018, then Sullivan Law & Associates in 2019.
In 2020 Tran began working at the Law Offices of Cameron M. Fernandez. His resume shows steady movement through small and mid-size firms, a pattern that exposed him to courtroom practice as well as client counseling. Early work included tasks typical of young associates: drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, and appearing in hearings under supervision. Those experiences shaped his approach to litigation and client intake.
He is admitted to practice in California and is eligible to appear before the Ninth Circuit. Professionally, he has been a member of the San Diego Family Law Bar Association since 2014. That affiliation reflects an ongoing engagement with peers who handle domestic relations, custody, and support matters in the region.
Across the offices where he has worked, Tran has handled cases involving divorce, child custody, support issues and related financial disputes, often intersecting with bankruptcy and tax questions. He brings courtroom experience and familiarity with family law practice in California to his work. He joined the Law Offices of Cameron M. Fernandez in 2020 and continues to practice there. His current practice focuses on family law matters in California.
