About Andrew

Andrew Fajardo earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina in 2006. He stayed in Columbia to attend the University of South Carolina School of Law and received his J.D. in 2010. Those years in the university system shaped his legal training and grounded him in the business and regulatory questions that often arise in insurance and workplace injury cases.

He is licensed to practice in South Carolina and has built a practice that reaches clients across the state. In 2015 he worked as a lawyer at Chappell, Smith & Arden, where he handled client matters out of regional offices and appeared in state proceedings. He has experience handling the procedures and filings common to claims brought in South Carolina forums.

Outside the office he maintains a steady involvement in professional groups. He holds memberships in the American Bar Association and the South Carolina Bar Association, and he participates in the Richland County Bar Association. He is also a member of Injured Workers’ Advocates and belongs to the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. In addition, he is a licensed instructor for the South Carolina Department of Insurance, a role that has him teaching compliance and regulatory topics to insurance professionals and others who work with the insurance system.

His work has taken him into communities across the state. He has been associated with regional offices including locations in Sumter, Florence, Aiken, Rock Hill and Charleston, as well as a main office that serves as a hub for broader client work. That geography reflects a practice that must respond to local court calendars, employer networks and the varied industries that shape injury and insurance claims in different parts of South Carolina.

Community ties have been part of his profile as well. He has had a connection with Lake Murray Presbyterian Church and maintains professional links that bridge legal work and civic life. He has combined classroom instruction for the Department of Insurance with day-to-day client representation, balancing public-facing education and casework.

He represents clients in matters that arise at the intersection of work injuries and insurance coverage, handling claims and administrative processes across South Carolina. He currently represents clients in workers' compensation and insurance-related matters across South Carolina.
