Andrea Murdock is the founder and principal attorney at Murdock Law, S.C., a Milwaukee-based firm that specializes in business, construction, insurance recovery, and real estate law. The firm is located at 4425 North Port Washington Road, Suite 107, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53212, and serves clients across the state of Wisconsin. Admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin in 2006, Andrea is known for her expertise and dedication in various legal fields. She earned her Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School, a respected institution known for its rigorous legal education. Prior to this, Andrea completed her Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science & Law and Spanish at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Her educational background laid a strong foundation for her legal career.
Before founding Murdock Law, S.C., she spent a decade as a litigation and appeals attorney at a small firm in downtown Milwaukee, where she became a named shareholder. This experience provided her with invaluable skills in navigating complex legal issues. Andrea also clerked for the Honorable Patricia D — McMahon in the Milwaukee County Circuit Court Civil Division. This role allowed her to gain critical insights into the judicial process and the art of presenting compelling arguments to judges. Throughout her career, she has represented both individuals and businesses in a variety of legal matters. These include non-compete agreements, shareholder disputes, construction delays, theft by contractor, misrepresentation, breach of contract, negligent construction, and homeowners and commercial general liability insurance coverage.
She has successfully tried numerous cases before judges, juries, and arbitrators across multiple jurisdictions. Her commitment to excellence is recognized — Andrea has been recognized as a Wisconsin Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2013 to 2016. In 2015, she was honored as one of the 30 Most Powerful Women in Law by the Wisconsin Law Journal. Additionally, her achievements were highlighted in the article "Murdock Rises Early in Career," published in Construction Law by the Wisconsin Law Journal/The Daily Reporter in July 2012. These accolades reflect her significant contributions to the legal profession. Beyond her legal practice, Andrea is deeply committed to community service.
She has served as a board member and former President of the Whitefish Bay Civic Foundation, actively participating in various community events. Notable events she has chaired include the 4th of July Celebration and the Great Pumpkin Festival. Additionally, she has volunteered as a coach for Girls on the Run of Southeastern Wisconsin and regularly participates in local 5k, half-marathon, and marathon races. Andrea is also a member of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) and serves on the Advisory Board of the Construction & Public Contract Law Section of the Wisconsin State Bar, further showcasing her dedication to both her profession and her community.
