About Andrea Lynn
Andrea Lynn Painter combines a background in English and law with a steady progression through private and corporate practice. She earned a B.A. in English from Washburn University in 2004 and a J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2008. Those years set the stage for a career that moved quickly from in-house work to firm leadership and then to running her own office.
Her legal career began in 2008 at Chesapeake Energy, where she worked as a lawyer. That role introduced her to transactional and corporate environments and gave her experience handling matters inside a large organization. In 2014 she left that setting to enter private practice as a partner at Cowan & Fleischer PLLC. She remained in firm practice over the next several years and took on increasing responsibility for client matters and firm management.
In 2018 she became an owner and partner at Fleischer, Fleischer, Painter & Cantrell, PLLC. That period broadened her exposure to client counseling and estate-related work. By 2021 she had established Painter Law, PLLC, where she is the owner and principal lawyer. Her path shows a steady move from larger employers to smaller, client-centered practice.
Painter is licensed to practice in Oklahoma and Ohio. She participates in professional and community organizations that reflect her interests outside the office. She has been a member of the Oklahoma City Estate Planning Council since 2021, and she joined the Oklahoma City University School of Law Alumni Association and WealthCounsel in 2020. She also volunteers for Oklahoma Lawyers for Children and coaches youth volleyball for the YMCA.
Colleagues describe her approach as methodical and client-focused. She applies plain language and careful drafting to matters that often involve family dynamics and long-term planning. Her training in English informs how she constructs documents and explains options to clients. That clarity can be useful when clients face complex decisions about assets, guardianship, or incapacity.
Painter balances courtroom experience from earlier practice with transactional work typical of small-firm estate planning attorneys. She manages both the legal details and the practical concerns that people bring to estate plans. She runs Painter Law, PLLC, from Oklahoma, serving clients whose needs include wills, trusts, probate, and related estate matters.
She currently practices estate planning, wills, trusts, and probate at Painter Law, PLLC.
