About Andrea
Andrea Lewis earned a B.S. in Finance and Real Estate from Florida State University in 2007 and a J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in 2010. She arrived at law after an undergraduate course of study grounded in numbers and property. The combination shaped the questions she asks and the documents she reads.
After law school she entered the practice of law and later joined Searcy Denney Scarola Barnhart & Shipley PA as an associate in 2014. Her time at the firm has involved the day-to-day demands of an associate attorney: drafting pleadings, responding to discovery, preparing motions and helping manage client matters through key stages of litigation. Colleagues describe her approach as steady and practical. She handles assignments that require close attention to statutory detail and procedural timing.
Lewis is admitted to practice in Florida and maintains active membership in The Florida Bar. She is also a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section, the Florida Justice Association and the Palm Beach County Justice Association. Those connections give her regular contact with peers and local courts. She uses committee meetings and bar events to test legal arguments and to stay current on procedural developments.
Beyond bar activity, Lewis has taken visible roles in local civic life. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Junior League of the Palm Beaches and holds the position of chairperson. That leadership involves organizing volunteers, overseeing programs and coordinating with other nonprofit stakeholders. The work requires planning, calendar management and public-facing communication — skills that carry back into her legal practice.
Peers and supervisors have noted her readiness to take on complex filings and to shepherd matters through the preparatory stages of litigation. Her background in finance and real estate sometimes surfaces in case analysis and document review. She balances courtroom preparation with client conversations, aiming to keep clients informed about the practical implications of legal choices.
She remains based in Florida at Searcy Denney Scarola Barnhart & Shipley PA, where her current practice focuses on serving clients in the state through her role at the firm.
