About Andrea Dianne
Andrea Dianne McMillan earned a B.A. in English with a minor in Spanish from Stetson University in 1987 and a J.D. from the University of Florida in 1990. Those years shaped her early legal training. They also anchored a career that has stayed rooted in Palm Beach County and the wider Florida legal community.
She began her post‑law school work in the appellate courts. In 1990 she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Harry Lee Anstead at the Fourth District Court of Appeal in West Palm Beach. That clerkship gave her direct exposure to appellate procedure and the judicial decisionmaking process at an early stage of her career.
After the clerkship, she moved into private practice. In 1992 she joined Adams, Coogler, Watson & Merkel, P.A. She later worked at Ricci, Hubbard, Leopold, Frankel & Farmer beginning in 1998. Those roles involved courtroom work and client representation across a range of matters in Florida state courts.
In 2002 she opened the Law Offices of Andrea D. McMillan, P.A., and serves as managing partner. She has run the firm from offices in the Barristers Building. As managing partner she oversees case handling and firm operations while continuing to represent clients personally.
McMillan’s professional life extends beyond the courtroom. She has been a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association since 1990. Since 1998 she has held memberships in the Florida Justice Association and the Palm Beach County Justice Association. She is listed as a graduate of Leadership Palm Beach County, Class of 1998, and she is also recorded as a member of its Board of Governors dating to the 1990s. Her civic involvement includes service on the boards of local organizations: she served as president of The Arc of Palm Beach County from 2001 to 2003 and sat on the board of the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County from 1996 to 2003. She has also been involved with Executive Women of the Palm Beaches and The Forum Club of the Palm Beaches.
Colleagues describe her as an experienced trial lawyer who has maintained a steady presence in local professional groups and community organizations. Over decades she has balanced firm leadership with ongoing membership in regional legal and civic bodies.
She practices law in Florida and manages client matters from the Law Offices of Andrea D. McMillan, P.A., in the Barristers Building, handling litigation and court work in state courts in Florida.
