About Andre Tylor
Andre Tylor Young trained first as a historian and educator. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2001 and a Master of Education in Social Studies Instruction in 2002 from Georgia State University. He then turned to law and received his J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2008.
His legal career began soon after law school. In 2008 he was a shareholder at Young Simmons & Burt, LLC. Two years later he opened his own practice as The Law Office of A.T. Young, LLC and also served as vice president of Balanced Budget Consultants, LLC. By 2011 he was a partner at Young DeLoach, PLLC. In 2014 he established The Young Law Office of Florida, LLC and is listed as its principal.
Young is admitted to practice in Florida and is authorized to appear before the Federal Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. That mix of state and federal access has shaped the types of matters he takes on. He handles cases that require work in Florida courts and, when needed, federal filings and appeals.
Beyond his firm work, Young has maintained a steady presence in bar and civic organizations. He served as president of the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association from 2014 to 2015 and is noted as its immediate past president in 2015. He has been active on the Florida Bar Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee as a liaison since 2013. He sits on the board of the Mennello Museum of American Art in Orlando and has long ties to chambers of commerce and community groups around Central Florida.
His community involvement extends to higher education and young professional networks. He remains a member of alumni associations for Indiana University and Georgia State. He has volunteered as a poll worker, participated in leadership programs like the Florida Bar Leadership Academy, and worked with United Way and youth ministries. Earlier in his career he served as a guardian ad litem in Seminole County and joined mentoring and volunteer programs in the Orlando area.
Colleagues describe a professional life split between private practice and public service. His offices are based in Orlando and Daytona Beach, giving him a dual presence in Orange and Volusia counties. He continues to manage The Young Law Office of Florida, LLC and represents clients in state and federal matters from those offices.
He currently represents individuals and businesses in Florida and in federal courts, operating from his Orlando and Daytona Beach offices.
