About Andra

Andra Racovitan arrived at law school after an early academic course in psychology. She earned a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas, and continued her studies at the University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law, where she received her J.D. in 2019. The combination of behavioral science and legal training shapes how she approaches problems and communicates with clients.

Her time in law school coincided with a period of rapid change in the legal profession. She graduated in 2019 and moved into practice as the next step. Rather than a flash of publicity, her career has been steady and practical. She learned to translate academic concepts into courtroom and client-room realities.

Racovitan serves as an associate lawyer at Modern Law Group, P.C. In that role she works on matters that require careful preparation and clear explanation. Colleagues describe her work as precise and methodical. She handles factual development, legal research, and the drafting of pleadings and briefs. Day-to-day responsibilities include interviewing clients, assembling evidence, and preparing documents for court or negotiation.

Her undergraduate background in psychology surfaces in the way she structures client interviews. She listens for key facts and organizes complex information into usable timelines. That approach can ease disputes and highlight the legal issues that matter most. It also guides her written work, where clarity and structure are essential.

Racovitan’s experience at Modern Law Group has exposed her to a variety of procedural settings. She has spent time preparing for hearings, engaging in discovery, and coordinating with experts or outside counsel when cases require specialized input. Her practice combines research and client contact. She balances time in the office drafting and analyzing with time meeting clients and preparing affidavits or declarations.

Outside the strict demands of casework she stays current on developments in state and local rules. Continuing legal education and firm training play a role in keeping her practice responsive to procedural changes. She favors practical solutions to legal problems and emphasizes incremental progress when complex matters resist quick resolution.

She currently practices as an associate at Modern Law Group, P.C., handling client representation and case work for the firm's matters.
