About Anderson
Anderson Lam arrived in law after a liberal arts undergraduate course of study at the University of California, Davis, where he earned a B.A. in philosophy and political science in 2014. He went on to graduate from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 2018. The two degrees reflect a combination of analytical training and close attention to public institutions.
Lam’s early legal résumé shows a mix of public interest, corporate, and judicial experience. In 2016 he served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Nathan D. Mihara at the California Court of Appeal, Sixth District. That same year he volunteered as a VITA tax preparer, helping low-income taxpayers navigate federal and state filings. He spent 2017 in two different internships: a Community Economic Justice legal internship at East Bay Community Law Center and a corporate legal internship at Seagate Technology. In 2015 he worked as an immigration clinic assistant and intake worker for Asian Law Alliance. In 2018 he joined the Law Offices of Galine, Frye, Fitting & Frangos as an attorney.
The thread running through these roles is practical problem solving. His appellate externship exposed him to courtroom drafting and opinion review. The community law and immigration placements put him on intake lines and into client interviews. Corporate work added exposure to contracts and internal compliance concerns. The VITA role required translating technical tax rules into plain language for people who needed quick, accurate help. Collectively, those responsibilities trained him to switch registers between litigation drafting, client counseling, and transactional review.
Lam is a member of the State Bar of California. He has continued to practice in California since joining private practice. His colleagues describe him as methodical in case preparation and careful in client communication. He appears to prefer clear organization and step-by-step problem solving over rhetorical flourish.
At the Law Offices of Galine, Frye, Fitting & Frangos he has handled matters that draw on his varied background. His work often involves research, document drafting, and client intake. He has continued occasional pro bono and volunteer engagements that echo his earlier community law experience, including helping low-income clients with tax and immigration paperwork.
As of 2026 Lam is based in California and practices through the Law Offices of Galine, Frye, Fitting & Frangos, representing clients in matters arising in the state.
