About Ana M.
Ana M. Deseda-Belaval followed an uncommon route into law. She began her professional life in the arts, earning a master’s degree in voice performance, then returned to school more than half a decade later to study law. The switch reshaped how she approaches legal problems. It also gave her a breadth of experience that informs her work today.
Deseda-Belaval completed a Juris Doctor at Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 2015. Before that she earned an M.A. in Music—Voice Performance from New School University in 2008 and a B.A. in Humanities with a focus on music and languages from the University of Puerto Rico—Río Piedras in 2002. Her academic background blends training in performance, critical analysis and languages. Those threads recur in her courtroom manner and client communication.
After law school she established a practice in Puerto Rico. She has worked with clients across the island and developed practical familiarity with the local courts and administrative processes. Her work draws on careful preparation and attention to detail. She is comfortable drafting pleadings and handling oral presentations. Those are skills rooted in her earlier study of voice and performance, where timing and clarity matter.
Colleagues describe Deseda-Belaval as precise and deliberate in her work. She tends to favor clear explanations over legalese when speaking with clients. That approach helps individuals and small organizations understand options and next steps. She also uses bilingual skills regularly; Spanish and English are part of her professional toolkit, reflecting her undergraduate focus on languages.
Her trajectory from the conservatory to the law classroom gives her a distinctive perspective. Music taught her to listen closely. Law taught her to translate listening into strategy. In practice she combines both. She evaluates facts, marshals documents and then presents arguments in a manner shaped by years of training in public performance.
Today she is based at Integrated Legal Solutions. There she manages client matters and consultations and works to resolve disputes through negotiation and formal proceedings when necessary. Her office handles cases arising under Puerto Rican law and serves clients across the jurisdiction. She currently practices at Integrated Legal Solutions, providing legal services to individuals and organizations across Puerto Rico.
