About Amy

Amy Jones earned her law degree at Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law. She arrived there after completing undergraduate studies and entered a class known for courtroom training and client clinics. The law school years provided the foundational skills she would use in practice.

Her early career included a position as an associate at Driggs, Bills & Day, PLLC, where she began in 2013. That role put her in the middle of routine litigation work and client counseling. Over time she handled pleadings, discovery and negotiations that are part of civil practice.

In 2020 she joined Sears Injury Law, PLLC. The move marked a shift to a firm whose practice concentrates on injury claims. At Sears Injury Law she worked alongside attorneys focused on accident cases, insurance disputes and claims for damages. Her time there expanded her courtroom experience and gave her more frequent contact with claimants and insurance adjusters.

Jones is licensed to practice in both Oregon and Washington. She holds memberships in local and state bar groups, including the King County Bar Association and the Oregon Bar Association. She also belongs to the Washington State Association for Justice. Those memberships place her in regular contact with peers and keep her current on changes in state procedures and trial practice.

Her work has involved the common components of civil litigation. She has prepared motions, taken depositions and participated in settlement negotiations. In the courtroom she has argued evidentiary matters and contested hearings. Her practice has emphasized case development from intake through resolution, whether by negotiated settlement or trial.

Colleagues describe Jones as methodical in case preparation and direct in communications with clients. She approaches file work with attention to timelines and an eye for the details that affect liability and damages. Outside the office she has continued ties to the bar associations that provide continuing legal education and professional resources.

As of 2026 she continues to practice at Sears Injury Law, PLLC, handling personal injury cases and related civil matters in Oregon and Washington.
