About Amna
Amna Shirazi built a legal practice around a straightforward idea: immigration law affects daily life in concrete ways. The cases she handles can determine where people live, work and raise families. She approaches that work one file at a time.
She earned her law degree at Georgia State University College of Law. That education provided classroom training and exposure to the procedural side of federal immigration law. During law school she encountered the practical demands of client work and the administrative systems that govern visas, naturalization and removal proceedings.
After passing the bar in Georgia she established her professional practice in the state. Her professional membership with the State Bar of Georgia is current. That membership supports her ability to represent clients in Georgia and to appear in state and federal forums as required by particular cases.
Her practice is based at Shirazi Immigration Law, Inc. There she handles immigration matters as the office’s attorney. The firm provides a point of contact for people seeking assistance with the immigration system, and she manages the legal work that follows intake — from preparing applications to responding to agency requests.
Colleagues describe her approach as practical and procedural. She concentrates on the mechanics of case preparation, deadlines and documentation. That orientation often shapes how she advises clients: prioritize the immediate filings, keep careful records and prepare for hearings when they become necessary.
In client work she deals with individual and family immigration questions. She guides clients through filings and procedural steps and represents them in interactions with immigration authorities when needed. Her work requires attention to changing rules and administrative practice. She monitors those developments and adjusts case strategies accordingly.
Outside of client matters she maintains the administrative responsibilities of running a small law practice. That includes supervising casework, managing communications and ensuring filings meet court and agency standards. She continues to practice in Georgia and keeps active membership in the State Bar of Georgia. Her current practice centers on immigration matters at Shirazi Immigration Law, Inc.
