About Ambry
Ambry Emanuel earned his law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2013 after completing a bachelor’s degree at Maryville University of St. Louis in 2010. He moved into public service early in his career, joining the State of Missouri as an assistant prosecutor in 2014. Those early years in the prosecutor’s office gave him regular courtroom experience and a sense of how case strategy and client expectations intersect under pressure.
After several years in the prosecutor’s office, Emanuel shifted toward family law. In 2018 he joined Coulter Goldberger, LLC as a family law attorney. There he worked on matters that required close attention to both legal detail and the personal dynamics clients brought into the office. The transition from public prosecution to private family practice broadened his perspective on evidence, negotiation and what clients need when disputes move beyond the courthouse steps.
Emanuel’s time in different roles has left him comfortable handling litigation and settlement work. He has prepared pleadings, appeared in court and negotiated resolutions for clients. Those same skills that are necessary in criminal contexts proved transferable to family law, especially when cases required hearings or intensive negotiation.
He later moved to The Wilbers Law Office LLC, where he is listed as a lawyer. At the firm he continues to draw on courtroom experience while assisting clients through often-challenging legal processes. Colleagues describe him as methodical in his preparation and direct in his communications. Clients working through family matters often need clear next steps; Emanuel’s practice emphasizes straightforward explanation of options and likely outcomes.
Outside of casework, his academic background in St. Louis informs a local approach to practice. He trained and began his career in the region, and that familiarity with local court procedures and professionals is a practical asset. Emanuel’s resume reflects steady movement from public service into private practice, with a consistent engagement in litigation and client counseling across roles.
He is admitted to practice in Missouri and continues to maintain a practice in the state. He currently practices at The Wilbers Law Office LLC, handling family law and related matters.
