About Amara
Amara Edblad has built a legal career that mixes firm leadership with hands-on practice. She holds licenses in Arizona, the Federal Circuit, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Those credentials reflect work spanning state and federal systems.
Her record in private practice begins in 2013, when she joined Pincus & Associates as a senior associate. She moved into firm management in 2017 as a managing lawyer at Pincus Law Office and took on broader oversight as a regional managing lawyer at Pincus & Associates in 2019. In 2023 she founded Amara & Associates and serves as its managing lawyer.
Those roles track a steady expansion of responsibility. Early on she focused on casework and client representation. Over time her portfolio grew to include staffing, operational decisions and strategic direction for multi-office practice. Colleagues describe a lawyer comfortable balancing courtroom work and the business demands of a small firm environment.
Professional memberships run long and consistent. She has been active in the Maricopa County Bar Association and Phi Alpha Delta since 2011. She joined the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Arizona in 2011 and serves as its treasurer. Since 2017 she has been a member at large of the Small Firm and Sole Practitioners Board of the Arizona State Bar. Those affiliations connect her to both local bar activity and networks for newer lawyers and firm leaders.
Her practice is shaped by multi-jurisdictional licensure. That allows her to represent clients in Arizona courts and in federal proceedings, and to accept matters that extend to Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Managing a small firm has also meant handling the administrative side of legal practice, from compliance and billing to mentoring junior lawyers and coordinating with outside counsel when cases cross state lines.
Clients and peers see a practitioner who moves between legal work and management. She continues to handle client matters personally while overseeing the firm’s direction. Her recent years have emphasized building a sustainable practice infrastructure as much as developing case law expertise.
Amara Edblad currently leads Amara & Associates and maintains an active practice across Arizona and in applicable federal, Pennsylvania and New Jersey matters.
