About Alvaro Augusto
Alvaro Augusto Acevedo has an academic background centered on tax law and public policy. He earned a J.D. from Nova Southeastern University and pursued advanced tax studies at Georgetown University Law Center, completing an LL.M. in Tax Law in 2019 and an executive certificate in International Tax Law. He also completed executive-level coursework at Harvard, including a program in Mastering Trade Policy in 2018 and studies in Comparative Tax Policy & Administration in 2014.
After completing his formal education, Acevedo moved into tax practice. In 2015 he began work at Brickell Law Group P.A. as a domestic and international tax lawyer.
