About Allen Michael
Allen Michael Ayers made his way to law from a California undergraduate background to a Texas law school. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2007 and completed his Juris Doctor at Texas Tech University School of Law in 2010. Those years shaped his early legal interests and provided the credentials he used to begin a practice in Texas.
While still in law school and shortly after graduating, Ayers gained courtroom experience through internships and a clerkship. In 2008 he worked as a legal intern at the Lubbock County District Attorney’s Office, an early exposure to criminal charging and court procedures. After earning his J.D., he served as a clerk to the Honorable Judge Weldon Copeland in 2010, a position that put him inside criminal court and offered first-hand observation of case management and judicial decision-making.
Ayers moved into private practice the following year. In 2011 he established the Law Office of Allen M. Ayers, taking on roles typically handled by solo practitioners: client intake, case investigation, and courtroom appearances. By 2013 he joined Stuckle & Associates as a lawyer, a step that embedded him in a firm setting and expanded the range of matters he handled. His career path shows a steady shift from learning roles toward sustained courtroom practice.
He is licensed to practice in Texas and has engaged with professional groups focused on criminal defense. Ayers is a current member of the Collin County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Earlier in his career he belonged to the Texas Criminal District Lawyers Association from 2008 to 2010. Those memberships reflect ongoing contact with peers who handle state and local criminal matters and with networks that provide continuing legal education and case law updates.
Ayers’s work history centers on criminal law. His early internship at a district attorney’s office and his judicial clerkship provided balanced perspectives on prosecution and adjudication. Later work with his own office and at Stuckle & Associates placed him in the role of advocate, handling client representation and court proceedings. He has practiced through both solo and firm contexts and has experience managing the practical demands of litigation.
He maintains his practice in Texas and remains active in local and state criminal defense associations. He currently practices at Stuckle & Associates, where his work centers on criminal defense in Texas.
