About Alisha

Alisha Jimenez built a legal path that began in the classroom and moved quickly into courtrooms. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Salisbury University in 2009, where she studied psychology and social work. She went on to Florida A&M University College of Law and received her J.D. in 2013.

Her early years in law combined practical courtroom exposure and public service. While in law school she interned with the State Lawyers Office for the Ninth Judicial Circuit, working in the Orange County Juvenile Division. That experience put her inside juvenile court proceedings and the daily realities of representing children and families in difficult circumstances. After graduation she joined Robertson Law Associates as an associate attorney in 2013, taking on a range of client matters and courtroom responsibilities.

In 2014 she began serving as a Guardian ad Litem through the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association, representing the interests of children in dependency and family court cases. The same year she launched her own practice, Jimenez Law. Founding her firm allowed her to move between public appointment work and direct client representation. The mix of nonprofit and private practice experience shaped how she approaches casework.

Jimenez is admitted to practice in both Florida and New Jersey. She has held membership in the New Jersey State Bar since 2014. Her background in psychology and social work informs how she assesses family dynamics, reports from social services, and the needs of minors involved in legal proceedings. That perspective shows up in how she prepares cases and communicates with courts, agencies, and clients.

Colleagues and clients see a lawyer who combines courtroom experience with an understanding of social-service systems. She maintains an active practice through Jimenez Law, PLLC. She continues to handle matters arising from juvenile and family court dockets and represents individual clients in state court proceedings. She now leads Jimenez Law, PLLC, where she focuses on juvenile and family court matters and representation across Florida and New Jersey.
