About Alicia
Alicia Armstrong earned a B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2005 and went on to receive her J.D. from the City University of New York School of Law in 2009. Her academic background combined language study and law, and it laid the groundwork for a practice that often crosses cultural and administrative lines.
After law school she focused her practice on immigration matters and administrative advocacy. In 2013 she opened ACA Law Office and served as owner and lawyer, building a small practice that handled client representation before administrative bodies and in state proceedings. During that period she established a steady client base and started accepting cases that required familiarity with both federal administrative procedures and state licensing rules.
In 2021 she took on an of-counsel role at Oasis Legal Group, where she provided experienced counsel on complex immigration matters and appeals. Her credentials include licensure in Wisconsin and authorizations that permit her to appear before the Federal Circuit and the Executive Office for Immigration Review. Those admissions have enabled her to represent clients on matters ranging from immigration court proceedings to federal appellate filings when jurisdiction required it.
Armstrong has maintained professional involvement in local and national organizations. She has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association since 2013 and is active in the Dane County Bar Association. Those memberships have kept her engaged with changes in immigration policy and procedure and connected to colleagues who practice across the Midwest.
She currently practices at Seguridad Legal Group. Her work continues to center on immigration-related representation, including administrative hearings and appeals before federal tribunals. Clients come to her for representation in removal defense, adjustment and naturalization matters, and administrative appeals, and she handles those cases from intake through hearing or filing as necessary.
Her approach is practical. She prepares cases for administrative stages and, when needed, for appellate review. Colleagues describe her as steady in court and focused on procedural detail. Today, at Seguridad Legal Group, she continues to represent individuals and families in immigration proceedings and related administrative matters.
