About Alexis
Alexis Altman earned her J.D. from Florida International University College of Law. She moved through law school with practical experience alongside her studies, combining classroom work with placements that exposed her to courtroom procedures and regulatory practice.
Her earliest legal positions included an internship at Blum & Silver, LLP in 2008. In 2011 she served as a judicial intern for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and as a legal extern with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. Those roles placed her inside both the judicial process and the regulatory side of the profession. In 2012 she worked as a law clerk at Grossman Roth PA, assisting on research and drafting tasks.
In 2013 Altman joined Stabinski and Funt, PA as an associate. There she handled day-to-day matters assigned to junior attorneys and worked on litigation-related tasks. The position allowed her to build on the procedural and drafting skills she had developed during her clerkship and internships.
In 2018 she moved to Kanner & Pintaluga. Records show she held the title of associate lawyer and, in the same year, was listed as a partner at the firm. Those listings reflect a shift into a firm where she continued work that involves client representation and court filings. Her time at the firm has involved collaborations with other attorneys on briefing, discovery and courtroom preparation.
Altman is licensed to practice in Florida. Her résumé shows repeated engagement with trial preparation, legal research and case management across private practice and court settings. Early exposure to both a federal courthouse and a financial regulatory body shaped a practical understanding of how different parts of the legal system operate. Colleagues describe a work history that spans clerkship duties, associate responsibilities and partnership-level practice at a Florida firm.
She currently practices at Kanner & Pintaluga and handles matters in Florida state and federal venues. Her present work centers on representing clients through pleadings, discovery and courtroom proceedings in Florida.
