About Alexandra E.
Alexandra E. Rossi built a career out of steady courtroom work and quietly precise preparation. She earned her J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law after completing undergraduate studies at Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Louisiana State University. Those academic years established a foundation in legal research and advocacy that shows up in routine filings and in trial dockets alike.
Rossi joined Kean Miller LLP in 2013. She began there as a lawyer and has remained part of the firm’s roster since. Her time at Kean Miller has included civil litigation across several layers of the federal system and in Louisiana state courts. Colleagues describe her approach as methodical; she organizes complex facts into clear narratives for judges and juries.
She is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Western and Middle Districts of Louisiana, and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Rossi also holds admission to practice in the state of Louisiana. Those credentials allow her to move cases through district court, into appeals when necessary, and to handle matters that cross state and federal lines.
Rossi maintains professional memberships in the Baton Rouge Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association. She attends local and regional meetings and appears at bar-sponsored programs. Her involvement keeps her tied to shifting local rules, procedural changes and the informal practices that affect how cases are managed day to day.
Work at the firm has covered a range of civil matters. She prepares pleadings, handles discovery disputes, drafts motions and participates in hearings. In courtroom settings she has argued procedural matters and presented evidence at trial. The record shows regular interaction with opposing counsel, court clerks and magistrates, which she uses to keep cases moving.
Outside of courtroom hours Rossi has focused on keeping up with continuing legal education and firm initiatives. She reads new opinions and local rule updates to ensure filings meet current standards. She also mentors junior associates on courtroom procedure and practical drafting techniques.
She currently practices at Kean Miller LLP and represents clients in matters before Louisiana state courts and the federal courts to which she is admitted.
