About Alexander R.
Alexander R. Shmulsky built his professional foundation in the study of law and criminal justice. He earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Northeastern University and went on to receive his J.D. from Albany Law School in 2007. Those years of classroom study and training shaped the practical instincts he brought to the courtroom and the office.
He moved into private practice soon after law school. In 2007 he established Shmulsky Law and has served as its owner since that time. The firm has functioned as a small, attorney-led practice where he manages client matters, oversees case strategy, and handles day-to-day operations.
His undergraduate focus on criminal justice informs how he frames legal problems. That background contributes to an attention to procedure and investigation when cases require it. Over the years he has handled matters that required careful fact-gathering, client counseling, and coordination with outside professionals.
Shmulsky is admitted to practice in New York and holds current membership in the State Bar of New York. He maintains a professional presence that includes an office at O’Brien & Eggleston, PLLC. He has worked within the New York legal community for the span of his career and interacts regularly with colleagues, opposing counsel, and court personnel in state venues.
Today he continues to run Shmulsky Law and to serve clients within New York. He balances casework and firm administration, taking responsibility for client intake, legal research, and courtroom work when matters proceed to hearing. His current practice focuses on matters arising in New York state courts.
