About Alexander J.
Alexander J. Eiffe built his legal path steadily and without fanfare. He came to the law after a liberal arts education in philosophy, and his work reflects that training: careful, methodical and attentive to argument. Colleagues describe him as deliberate in court and concise in writing. He has moved through private practice since earning his degrees and now practices from a regional office.
Eiffe earned his Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law in 2010. Before law school he studied philosophy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, receiving his Bachelor of Arts in 2007. Those years framed his approach to legal problems. He has returned on occasion to lecture informally for students and new lawyers on drafting and appellate procedure, drawing on classroom methods as well as courtroom experience.
After graduation he began professional practice and by 2012 he was an associate at A.G. Linett & Associates, PA. He has remained at the firm, taking on increasing responsibility for case preparation and court filings. His docket experience includes matters that required detailed brief writing, multiple rounds of discovery and coordination with co-counsel. He has handled both trial filings and appellate submissions, and he is accustomed to the deadlines and document demands those matters bring.
Eiffe is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and North Carolina. He is also admitted to appear before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He maintains professional memberships and participates in bar activities and local legal events. That involvement keeps him connected to developments in procedural rules and appellate practice in the jurisdictions where he appears.
Clients and other lawyers find his work straightforward. He approaches cases by mapping the legal issues, organizing the record and keeping court papers clear. He prepares witnesses and coordinates filings across state and federal dockets. He is often the lawyer who handles the practical side of a file once the legal strategy is set.
Today he practices at A.G. Linett & Associates, PA, where his work involves representing clients in matters across New Jersey, Pennsylvania and North Carolina and in proceedings before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
