About Alejandra
Alejandra Rodriguez is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 2004. Her license is currently in active status. Ms. Rodriguez is the principal and founder of Rodriguez Law Offices, a law firm located in San Diego, California. She has been practicing law for over 22 years, serving clients throughout Southern California, including San Diego County and surrounding areas.
Ms. Rodriguez earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Psychology from the University of San Diego in 1998. She then attended California Western School of Law, where she graduated cum laude in 2004. During law school, she was ranked in the top 10% of her class and served as a member of the Law Review. Her article, "Is the War on Terrorism Compromising Civil Liberties? A Discussion of Hamdi and Padilla," was published in the California Western Law Review Journal. Prior to starting her law practice, Ms. Rodriguez worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Roger L. Hunt, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Nevada.
Ms. Rodriguez concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, elder law, and probate. She assists individuals and families with matters involving wills, trusts, conservatorships, and probate proceedings. Her practice encompasses all stages of legal work, including initial case evaluation, document preparation, negotiations, and court proceedings. She is fluent in Spanish, allowing her to effectively serve the diverse communities of Southern California.
Throughout her career, Ms. Rodriguez has been admitted to practice before the California Supreme Court, the California Courts of Appeal, and the California Superior Courts. She has also appeared before the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. Prior to founding Rodriguez Law Offices, she worked as a law clerk for the United States District Court for the District of Nevada. She has been recognized for her contributions to the legal community, including being named "Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year" by the National Latina Business Women Association in 2008 and a San Diego Daily Transcript Top Attorney Semi-Finalist in 2009.
Ms. Rodriguez is an active member of the San Diego County Bar Association, the La Raza Lawyers Association of San Diego, MANA de San Diego, and the National Latina Business Women Association. She served on the board of directors for the National Latina Business Women Association from 2008 until 2011. She has participated as a mentor with MANA de San Diego's Hermanitas Program since 2008 and has been involved in free legal clinics organized by the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program. Additionally, she is a licensed real estate broker, which adds value to the services she provides to clients.
