Albert Parisi is a seasoned personal injury attorney based in Rochester, New York. With over 35 years of legal experience, he has dedicated his career to specializing in personal injury cases. Admitted to practice in both New York and New Jersey, Parisi is known for his commitment to advocating for clients who have suffered due to negligence or misconduct. His academic journey began at Rutgers College in New Brunswick, New Jersey, where he earned his undergraduate degree with high honors. Following this achievement, Parisi attended Columbia Law School in New York City. During his time at Columbia, he was awarded a prestigious human rights fellowship by Supreme Court Justice Arthur Goldberg.
This unique opportunity allowed him to tour aboriginal reserves throughout Australia, where he documented human rights violations for the United Nations Commission on Human Rights. This experience not only enriched his legal perspective but also deepened his commitment to justice. After graduating from Columbia Law School, Parisi gained inexperience working at two prominent law firms. He began his career at Nixon Peabody in New York City, followed by a position at Schiff, Hardin & Waite in Chicago. Both firms are recognized leaders in products liability and mass toxic tort litigation. This foundation gave him the skills necessary to navigate complex legal challenges, particularly in cases involving significant harm to individuals.
In 1990, he took a significant step by founding The Parisi Law Firm in Rochester, New York. The firm has since specialized in products liability and personal injury litigation, handling a diverse array of cases. Over the past 25 years, the firm has represented clients in significant matters, including those involving asbestos exposure, failed LASIK eye surgery, and nail gun injuries. Additionally, the firm has successfully advocated for clients involved in car, motorcycle, and slip-and-fall accidents, demonstrating many expertise in personal injury law. Parisi's success in the courtroom is recognized. He was elected President of the Upstate Trial Lawyers Association, reflecting his leadership within the legal community.
Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to collaborate with prominent litigators, including Harvard Professor Charles Ogletree and the late attorney Johnny Cochran. Beyond the courtroom, he actively engages with the community as a member of the 103.9 WDKX radio family. He hosts a weekly legal talk show, further educating the public on legal issues and personal injury law.
