Albert Justin Lum is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1993 and holds bar number 164882. Mr. Lum earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Davis, King Hall School of Law, where he graduated in 1992. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Berkeley, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry and Economics in 1987. During his time at UC Berkeley, he also studied Mandarin Chinese in China for two years, enhancing his language skills and cultural understanding.

Mr. Lum is an active member of the Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association, having served as its president in 2001. He is also a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the American Intellectual Property Lawyers Association. He holds membership in the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a registered patent attorney. Mr. Lum is fluent in English and Chinese, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of Southern California effectively.
