About Aimee Muscato

Aimee Muscato Bateman followed an uncommon path into law. She began at the United States Military Academy, where she completed a Bachelor of Science in Military Art and Sciences and Nuclear Engineering in 2000. The technical and leadership training she received there framed the early years of her career.

She added a Master of Science from Troy University in 2002, studying Foundations of Education and Fitness Management. After that she pursued legal training at Texas Tech University School of Law, earning a J.D. in Business Law in 2008. She later completed an LL.M. in Military Law at the Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School in 2012.

Her professional life started in uniform. Bateman entered the U.S. Army in 2000 and served there during the early portion of her career. Military service and legal education overlapped for her, and she carried lessons from both into practice. The record shows a steady progression from technical and operational roles into legal work.

After law school and advanced legal study, Bateman transitioned into civilian practice and secured admission to practice in both Kansas and Texas. In 2021 she established Bateman Law Group, LLC and took on the role of owner and managing partner. Running a small firm has placed administrative, client-facing and litigation responsibilities on her shoulders. She manages the business side of a law practice while also handling legal matters for clients.

Colleagues describe her approach as disciplined and methodical. Her background in engineering and military training often surfaces in how she organizes cases and prepares evidence. She has drawn on that training when advising clients and when navigating court procedures. Those who have worked with her note a preference for careful preparation and clear explanation of legal options.

Outside the office, Bateman’s record ties back to public service and institutional environments. Her education and early career are rooted in military institutions. That history continues to inform how she evaluates risk and strategy in legal matters.

She now practices in Kansas and Texas through Bateman Law Group, LLC.
