About Aimee
Aimee Manriquez earned her Juris Doctor from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2008. Her legal education came at a time of change in the Texas legal landscape, and she left law school prepared to practice in the state where she now holds her license. The degree is the anchor of a career that spans more than a decade and a half of work in Texas courts and counseling settings.
After graduating, Manriquez built a practice rooted in everyday legal work. She has handled the routine motions, client conferences and legal research that form the backbone of litigation and transactional matters. Her colleagues describe her as methodical in preparation and careful in drafting. She moves deliberately through complex procedural steps, and she values clarity in written work.
Her work has required a mix of courtroom preparation and out-of-court resolution. She has prepared pleadings, managed discovery, and negotiated settlements on behalf of clients. Those tasks have demanded an attention to detail and an ability to explain legal implications in plain terms to people who are not lawyers. Manriquez’s approach to client meetings tends to be practical: identify the key legal issues, map possible outcomes, and set achievable next steps.
Across files, she has balanced legal research with client counseling. That combination keeps cases moving and helps clients make informed choices. She also spends time on compliance matters and contract review when matters turn transactional. Manriquez’s caseload has required familiarity with Texas statutes and local court procedures, and she maintains that familiarity through continual practice rather than public-facing roles or academic appointments.
Today she practices in Texas and continues to represent individuals and businesses on matters arising under state law. Her current practice focuses on resolving disputes and providing counsel on legal obligations within Texas. She is active in the state’s legal community through her day-to-day client work and ongoing courtroom and office practice, concentrating on matters governed by Texas law.
