About Aime Moupassa
Aime Moupassa Katambwe earned a B.A. in Business Economics from California State University, Northridge in 1990 and completed his J.D. at Whittier Law School in 1995. Those years laid the groundwork for a legal career centered in California courts and federal practice in the Ninth Circuit. He has combined classroom training and courtroom practice over several decades.
After law school, Katambwe entered practice in California. He holds admission to the state bar and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. That dual admission allows him to handle matters in both state and federal forums. Over time he has balanced litigation and client counseling, adapting to the procedural demands of trial and appellate work.
Katambwe has participated in a range of professional groups. He was a member of ATLA from 2000 through 2006. He belonged to the American Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association from 2002 to 2006. From 2003 to 2007 he held membership in the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Since 2008 he has been part of the Santa Clarita Valley Bar Association, and that membership remains current. These affiliations reflect years spent engaged with colleagues across different practice areas and court systems.
His practice has long been based in the Los Angeles region. He is listed at WorldEsquire Law Office, where he handles matters that arise in state courts and in federal proceedings subject to Ninth Circuit oversight. Colleagues note his steady presence in local bar activities and his ongoing courtroom work.
Outside of organized bar work, Katambwe has managed caseloads that require attention to procedure and client communication. He approaches casework in a methodical way, separating factual development from legal strategy and addressing each on its own terms. That practical orientation has informed how he prepares matters for trial, motions, or appellate briefing.
As of 2026 he continues to practice from WorldEsquire Law Office, maintaining active membership in the Santa Clarita Valley Bar Association and holding admission in California and before the Ninth Circuit. He currently concentrates his practice on matters litigated in California courts and cases that may proceed to the Ninth Circuit.
