About Ahmad

Ahmad Yakzan trained as an international lawyer. He earned an LL.M. in international law from Stetson University College of Law in 2009. He also holds a J.D. in international law from Stetson, completing his studies earlier in the same decade. His education placed him in conversations about cross-border rules and comparative legal systems at a relatively early stage in his career.

After law school, Yakzan built a practice that spans more than one jurisdiction. He is admitted to the bars of the District of Columbia and the State of Florida. Those admissions allow him to handle matters that arise in both the nation’s capital and in Florida, and to advise clients whose concerns cross state and national lines. He has maintained memberships in professional associations and participates in bar-related activities that relate to his areas of interest.

Yakzan’s background in international law informs how he approaches cases and client counsel. He often addresses questions that require an understanding of foreign laws, treaties, or immigration-adjacent regulatory frameworks. His work can involve interpreting international agreements, coordinating with counsel in other jurisdictions, and preparing filings that reflect a comparison between domestic and foreign legal regimes. He favors practical solutions that account for legal constraints on both sides of a border.

Throughout his career he has worked in private practice settings. He is associated with American Dream Law Office PLLC and the related American Dream Law Office entities listed among his offices. Those firms provide a platform for him to serve individuals and organizations whose issues do not fit neatly within a single jurisdiction.

Colleagues describe Yakzan as methodical in approaching complex documents and deliberate in courtroom or administrative settings. He tends to break complicated problems into discrete steps. That approach helps clients understand options and risks. He also places emphasis on clear written work, whether that means pleadings, contracts, or advisory memoranda.

Outside of casework, Yakzan has engaged in continuing legal education and maintained ties to Stetson through alumni networks. He balances practice and professional development in ways that reflect the demands of cross-border legal work. He currently practices at American Dream Law Office PLLC, handling international and cross-jurisdictional legal matters.
