About Agnes Z.

Agnes Z. Olechno earned her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2013 after completing two undergraduate degrees at Loyola the year before. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and International Studies and a B.S. in Criminal Justice, and she also completed a Child and Family Law Certificate at Loyola Law. Those years of study gave her classroom and clinical training in the procedures and statutes that shape family and juvenile matters in Illinois.

She began her legal practice immediately after law school. In 2013 she worked as an associate at Anderson & Associates, P.C., and during the same year she served as a pro bono children’s representative for the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services Foundation. That pro bono role placed her in family court proceedings where she advocated for young clients and navigated the procedural demands of guardianship and custody hearings.

By 2015 she was listed as a lawyer at the Law Office of Zachary W. Williams. There she continued to develop practical courtroom experience and handled client-facing responsibilities that included case preparation and court appearances. Her early career mixed firm-based practice with public-interest work, an arrangement that exposed her to both private litigation rhythms and the needs of vulnerable populations.

Olechno is a member of several bar associations. She holds membership in the State Bar of Illinois and has been active in the Chicago Bar Association since 2013. Her involvement extends to suburban bar groups as well; she lists membership in both the Northwest Suburban Bar Association and the Southwest Suburban Bar Association, and she is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association. These affiliations keep her connected to local rules, continuing education, and the professional networks that inform day-to-day practice.

Colleagues and clients see a lawyer whose training and early duties center on child and family matters. Her academic credential in child and family law and her pro bono work on behalf of children are recurring points in her résumé. She maintains an office in Chicago and practices in areas related to family law and child welfare matters.
