About Adrienne
Adrienne Dresevic earned her J.D. from Wayne State University Law School in 1999 after completing a B.S.B.A. in Accounting at Central Michigan University in 1989. She entered the legal profession following law school and built a career that has kept her squarely within health law circles.
She began her practice at Wachler & Associates, P.C., joining the firm as a law clerk in 2000 and later serving as an associate and partner. Over time she moved to establish her own practice and is a founding partner of The Health Law Partners, P.C. That trajectory reflects a steady progression from entry-level practice to firm leadership.
Dresevic is admitted to practice in Michigan and New York, and she is authorized to appear before the U.S. District Court for both the Western and Eastern Districts of Michigan. Those admissions support a practice that spans state and federal matters affecting health care providers and organizations.
Her work centers on health law. She handles regulatory and compliance issues, transactional matters and aspects of litigation that affect institutions and practitioners in the health sector. Colleagues describe her as practical and detail-oriented; she approaches problems by breaking them into concrete steps and addressing the regulatory requirements that drive outcome options.
Professional involvement has been a consistent part of her career. Dresevic serves as Vice Chair of the American Bar Association Health Law Section and participates on the Healthcare Publications Committee Editorial Board and in ABA Health eSource activities. She also holds membership in the American Health Lawyers Association and is active in the State Bar of Michigan’s Health Care Law Section. Those roles keep her engaged with emerging developments and rule changes that affect clients.
Clients and peers encounter an attorney who combines accounting training and legal education. Her undergraduate background in accounting informs how she reviews financial and billing practices, and it complements the legal analysis she applies to compliance reviews and transactional documents. She balances technical detail with pragmatic advice.
She maintains an active practice at The Health Law Partners, P.C., where she works on the full range of health law matters. Her current practice concentrates on regulatory, compliance, transactional and litigation issues affecting health care clients.
