About Adele
Adele Schneidereit earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 1983, and later returned to school to complete a J.D. at Monterey College of Law, awarded in 2013. Her academic path is a mix of technical training and legal study. It helped shape a career that crosses sectors rather than living inside a single lane.
She began her professional life in technology. In 1988 she worked as a senior software consultant for American Management Systems, and in 1989 she joined Kaiser Foundation Health Plan Inc. as a software designer and consultant. Those early roles involved systems design, project work and consulting in health-plan environments. They also preceded a later shift to nonprofit leadership and, ultimately, to law.
In 2006 Schneidereit helped found the Inspire The World Foundation and served as its CEO, executive director and executive producer. The foundation work ran alongside another long-term interest: aviation. She has been a member of The 99s, an organization of female pilots, since 2006 and holds a private pilot certification from the U.S. federal aviation authority.
Her legal training began in earnest after law school. In 2013 she worked as a legal intern as an independent contractor while gaining practical experience. Seven years later she established her own practice. In 2020 she became the principal and senior lawyer at the Law Offices of Adele Schneidereit, a practice she leads today.
Schneidereit is admitted to practice law in California and is also admitted to appear before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Her background in both technology and nonprofit management informs the questions she takes to court. She has experience that spans technical work, organizational leadership and courtroom procedure; those strands intersect in the matters she handles.
Her office reflects that blended career. She runs a small practice out of the Law Offices of Adele Schneidereit and provides representation in state and federal matters. Her current practice focuses on cases filed in California courts and matters brought before the Federal Circuit.
