About Adam
Adam Wogsland studied criminal justice, history and political science at Jamestown College and graduated in 1999. The combination of disciplines gave him a broad view of the systems he would later work in. He moved from undergraduate study into legal roles that exposed him to courtroom procedure and the mechanics of litigation.
His first listed legal position was as a law clerk in 2006 for the East Central Judicial District. In that role he worked inside the judicial system, assisting judges with research and drafting. The clerkship offered a close-up look at trial practice and judicial decision-making, and it shaped the practical habits he carried into private practice.
In 2008 he joined the Nilles Law Office as a lawyer. There he represented clients in matters that required courtroom appearances and written advocacy. The work at Nilles broadened his experience in client counseling and in handling case work from initial pleading through disposition.
By 2013 he was practicing at Severson, Wogsland & Liebl, PC. His name appears on the firm listing for that year, and his role involved advising clients and appearing in court. Over time he has combined courtroom experience with written legal work, moving between contested hearings and negotiated resolutions depending on the needs of a case.
He is licensed to practice in both North Dakota and Minnesota. Maintaining admission in two neighboring jurisdictions allows him to take cases that cross state lines and to respond to procedural differences between the two systems. That dual admission also shapes how he prepares filings and plans litigation strategy.
Across his career, Wogsland has progressed from a judicial law clerk to lawyer roles in private firms. He has worked on matters that require both litigation skills and client advisory work. He currently practices law in North Dakota and Minnesota.
