Adam T — Klein is the Managing Partner at Outten & Golden LLP in New York City. He has been practicing law for over 35 years, focusing on class action and impact litigation in employment discrimination and wage and hour claims. Mr. Klein earned his Juris Doctor from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 1990. He completed his undergraduate studies at Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations, graduating in 1987.
Admitted to the New York State Bar in 1991, Mr. Klein is also authorized to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern. Western Districts of New York, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second, Ninth, and Eleventh Circuits. Throughout his career, Mr.
Klein has led numerous significant class action lawsuits against major corporations, including Goldman Sachs, Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, and Morgan Stanley. These cases have addressed issues such as gender and race discrimination, resulting in substantial settlements and systemic changes within these companies. Beyond his litigation work, Mr. Klein is deeply involved in civil rights and employment law advocacy. He serves as Co-Chair of the Executive Committee of the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law and is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. He has also been a member of the Advisory Board of the National Wage and Hour Clearinghouse.
Mr. Klein's contributions to the legal field have been recognized by his peers, earning him selections to Best Lawyers in America and New York's Super Lawyers – Manhattan Edition. He has also been named to the Lawdragon 500 leading lawyers in America and the Hall of Fame in the Legal 500.
