About Adam
Adam Nicolet built a path to law that began in the classroom and moved quickly into practice. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, then took his legal training at the University of St. Thomas, Minnesota School of Law. His academic background combined a broad view of public institutions with the technical training of a modern law school.
After law school he entered the Wisconsin legal community. He joined the State Bar of Wisconsin in 2013 and is licensed to practice in the state. Membership in the bar is the through-line in his professional record; it marks his formal entry into practice and his ongoing standing among Wisconsin attorneys.
Nicolet’s career has been anchored in western Wisconsin. He maintains offices in Eau Claire, Rice Lake and Hudson. Those regional bases allow him to work with clients across a mix of local matters. He handles client intake, case preparation and court filings from those offices and attends to the procedural steps required by state practice.
Colleagues and clients describe him as straightforward in his work. He favors clear communication. He prepares filings carefully and pays attention to deadlines. Those traits shape the day-to-day of his practice as much as any case type might.
Outside of his bar membership he has been involved in local professional networks and maintains ties to the communities where he practices. He has engaged in the typical obligations of Wisconsin attorneys, including continuing legal education and participation in State Bar programs. Those activities keep him current on developments in state law and procedure.
Nicolet’s work sits squarely in state jurisdiction. He appears in Wisconsin forums and serves clients from the northwestern part of the state. He balances office-based work with court appearances and client meetings across the region. He lives and works in the communities where his offices are located, which gives him a local perspective on legal issues that arise there.
He currently focuses his practice on serving clients across western Wisconsin from his offices in Eau Claire, Rice Lake and Hudson.
