About Adam Lewis
Adam Lewis Stoltz followed a straightforward academic path into the law. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2011 and earned his J.D. from Tulane University School of Law in 2015. Law school years gave him the credentials to move into practice in New York soon after graduation.
He is admitted to practice in New York and is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Those federal admissions allow him to handle matters that proceed beyond state court and into the federal system.
Stoltz is an attorney at Grant Eisenhofer P.A. At the firm he has worked on litigation that proceeds through pleadings, discovery and motion practice. He regularly appears in court filings in both state and federal venues and prepares the sorts of submissions and strategy memos that litigation often requires. His work touches on procedural and evidentiary issues that shape how cases move forward.
He also engages in the factual development side of cases. That means managing document review, directing factual investigation and coordinating with expert witnesses when their analysis is needed. He spends time preparing witnesses for deposition and hearing testimony, and he drafts the briefs that present legal argument to judges and opposing counsel.
Colleagues describe him as a careful researcher and a concise writer. He participates in professional organizations and keeps current on developments in federal practice and case law that affect litigation in New York. That professional engagement informs how he approaches scheduling, discovery disputes and case management in both the Southern and Eastern Districts.
Today he practices at Grant Eisenhofer P.A., where he concentrates on civil litigation and federal-court matters arising in New York. He maintains admissions in New York and before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
