About Adam Joseph
Adam Joseph Childers built a foundation in leadership and public service long before he entered a courtroom. He spent time at the United States Military Academy in 2005, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 2008, and completed his Juris Doctor at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2012. Those formative years shaped a career that moves between public work and private practice.
Childers began his legal career in public prosecution. In 2013 he served as a deputy prosecuting lawyer in the Prosecuting Attorney's Office of the Sixth Judicial District. The role put him in front of juries and judges on a regular basis and provided early exposure to trial work, case preparation and courtroom procedure. After a spell in prosecution he spent time as an associate at a small firm in 2016, where he handled a range of litigation matters and client counseling.
In 2017 Childers opened his own practice, Childers Law Office, PLLC. He took the step many lawyers do when they want direct control of case selection and office operations. Running a solo practice required balancing caseload management, client intake and the administrative demands of a small business. His office is located in Little Rock at 315 N. Broadway St., where he meets clients and manages filings in state court.
His professional affiliations reflect the path he has followed. He is a current member of the Arkansas State Bar and of the Pulaski County Bar Association. He joined the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers in 2017 and holds membership in the International Association of Privacy Professionals dating to 2015. Those memberships track his interest in criminal defense on one hand and privacy and data issues on the other. He also served as a commissioner on the Little Rock Parks and Recreation Commission from 2015 to 2018, a local appointment that added civic engagement to his resume.
Childers' background includes both sides of the criminal justice system. Years as a prosecutor gave him familiarity with charging decisions, trial strategy and plea negotiations. His later work in private practice has involved defending clients in criminal matters and advising on privacy-related concerns, a combination that draws on litigation experience and an awareness of regulatory issues.
He is certified by the Arkansas State Bar and remains active in several bar and professional groups. He represents clients from his Little Rock office at 315 N. Broadway St., and concentrates on criminal defense and privacy law.
