About Adam Croswell

Adam Croswell Gedling combined business training and legal study early in his career. He earned a B.B.A. from Ohio University in 2005 and followed that with an MBA at the same school in 2006. He then turned to law, receiving a J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law in 2009. The sequence is a clear through-line: business foundations followed by legal training.

After law school, Gedling began his professional practice and developed experience in matters that touch both law and commerce. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Membership in the Federal Bar Association reflects his engagement with the federal bench and bar. He is also active in the Ohio Employment Law Association, which signals an interest in employment-related legal issues.

Gedling’s blend of degrees gives him a particular perspective on disputes that involve commercial considerations. He approaches cases with an eye for how business decisions and legal rules intersect. That perspective has informed the kinds of matters he takes on, especially those that require attention to both legal detail and business consequences.

In practice he handles matters in state and federal court. He represents clients in employment and business disputes, working through contract questions, workplace issues, and related litigation. He appears in federal court in both northern and southern districts of Ohio when cases require it. His federal admissions allow him to bring matters before those courts directly.

Professional membership has been a steady part of Gedling’s career. His involvement in the Federal Bar Association and the Ohio Employment Law Association keeps him connected to peers and developments in both federal practice and employment law. Those affiliations also provide resources for ongoing professional development and informal consultation.

He is based at Coffman Legal, LLC. There he continues to handle litigation and counseling for clients whose issues sit at the crossroads of business and employment law. He currently practices at Coffman Legal, LLC, representing clients in employment and business disputes in state and federal court.
