About Adam

Adam Barritt took a straightforward route into the practice of law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Nebraska - Omaha. That undergraduate study sharpened his interest in documents, context and how stories are constructed. He went on to receive a Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Law, where he completed the formal training that led him into legal practice.

After law school he began a career in Nebraska. In 2024 he joined Stange Law Office, PC as an associate lawyer. The title reflects several years of study and preparation, but the day-to-day work is practical and precise. In his role he contributes to case preparation, conducts legal research, drafts pleadings and other documents, and communicates with clients and opposing counsel. He handles tasks that help move matters forward from intake through resolution.

Barritt’s background in history informs how he approaches legal questions. He pays attention to chronology and precedent. He looks for patterns in records and tries to place facts in a broader context. Those habits show up in written work and in strategy discussions with colleagues. He also relies on the core skills taught in law school: analysis, clear writing and attention to legal mechanics.

Colleagues describe his work as steady and methodical. He is the kind of associate who focuses on the details that make a larger case coherent. He contributes to the firm’s workflow by taking ownership of research tasks and by preparing materials that senior lawyers can use in court or in negotiations. He also assists in client meetings and helps translate legal concepts into plain language for people who are new to the process.

Outside of the firm’s immediate tasks, Barritt remains rooted in Nebraska. He keeps up with state statutes and local procedures. He has built working relationships across the bench and bar that are practical and functional. As an associate at Stange Law Office, PC, he continues to develop his practice in Nebraska and to take on responsibilities typical of an early-career attorney practicing in the state.
