About Abe

Abe Chaballout took an unconventional path to law. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology at Cornell University in 2008, then later earned a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 2017. Those academic years bookend a period of varied interests and preparation that inform his approach to legal work.

After law school, Chaballout moved into private practice. He worked as an associate at Lobb & Plewe LLP in 2019, where he handled research, drafting and client correspondence as part of team matters. In 2020 he joined Vide Law as a lawyer. His responsibilities there have included case preparation, motion practice and coordination with clients across matter lifecycles. Colleagues describe him as steady in litigation deadlines and careful in written work.

Chaballout is admitted to practice in California. He has experience across the routine demands of law practice: counseling clients, preparing pleadings, and managing discovery. His time at two different firms gave him exposure to firm operations, from intake through to resolution. He has taken on tasks that range from legal research to negotiating procedural agreements.

Outside of firm work, Chaballout maintains professional ties through bar and association memberships. He participates in those forums to stay current on developments in California practice and procedural rules. That activity feeds back into his day-to-day work at the firm, where timely procedural knowledge often affects case strategy.

People who work with him note a practical approach. He tends to break complex problems into discrete tasks. That makes teams more efficient and deadlines less daunting. Clients have remarked on his clear explanations and efforts to set realistic expectations.

He has not been publicly linked to headline matters or academic publications. The record available focuses on his steady progression through associate roles into his current position at Vide Law. He continues to work from that office and to represent clients in matters filed and managed in California courts and administrative forums.

He currently practices at Vide Law, where his work centers on representing clients in matters handled under California law.
