About Abbie

Abbie Hogan combines a social-policy undergraduate background with a law degree from a major state school. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Policy from Northwestern University in 2003. Five years later she graduated from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law, receiving her J.D. in 2008. Those years shaped how she thinks about law and public issues.

After law school she moved into private practice. Over time she developed a practice that balances courtroom work and client counseling. She joined Charles Zamora Co., L.P.A., where she handles matters the firm brings her way and collaborates with colleagues on more complex files. Her work at the firm reflects steady courtroom experience, careful legal research and written advocacy.

Her undergraduate study in social policy and legal education inform how she approaches cases. She pays attention to statutory detail and to how decisions affect people beyond the immediate dispute. She plans legal strategy carefully, prepares courtroom materials, and guides clients through procedural steps. She also spends time on negotiating solutions where that proves the most effective path.

Colleagues describe her approach as practical and direct. She breaks issues down, identifies likely outcomes, and prepares clients for each phase of a matter. Her docket has included contested matters and negotiated resolutions. She has written briefs, managed discovery, and argued motions before judges. Outside the courtroom she focuses on clear explanations that help clients understand risks and options.

Outside of casework she keeps current on developments in the law through continuing legal education. Her background in social policy continues to inform how she thinks about regulation, administrative procedures, and the broader consequences of legal decisions. She remains active in the daily practice of law at Charles Zamora Co., L.P.A., where her current practice focuses on advising and representing clients in the matters the firm handles.
