About Aaron
Aaron VanderPol built his legal foundation at Washington State University, where he earned a B.A. in political science in 2011. He continued his studies at Gonzaga University School of Law and received his J.D. in 2016. Those years in Pullman and Spokane shaped his approach to law. He arrived in practice ready to work.
After law school he joined Washington Law Center as an associate in 2017. That position gave him regular courtroom exposure and steady client contact. He handled filings, hearings and legal research, and he learned how to move cases through state court calendars. Colleagues from that period describe him as methodical about case preparation.
In 2022 VanderPol opened Green River Law, PLLC and became its owner. Running a small firm required a new set of tasks. He added client intake, office management and the business side of practice to his day-to-day legal work. The transition shifted him from a supporting role at a larger center to primary counsel and firm manager.
VanderPol is licensed to practice in Washington and is an active member of the Washington State Bar Association. He also holds memberships in the King County Bar Association, the Loren Miller Bar Association and the Washington State Association for Justice. Those organizations provide local contacts and continuing legal education. He uses those resources to stay current on court rules and procedural developments.
His practice draws on courtroom experience and on the practical demands of running a firm. He prepares pleadings, argues motions and manages client relationships. He is familiar with state court processes and the administrative procedures that often accompany contested matters.
Clients and peers see him as a lawyer who handles the nuts-and-bolts work that cases require. He invests time in document review and in preparing witnesses and exhibits for hearings. That hands-on work tends to shape the cases his firm accepts.
Outside the office he maintains professional ties in the Seattle and King County legal communities. He participates in bar programming and attends association events that address procedural updates and trial practice. He continues to develop the practice at Green River Law, PLLC and serves clients across Washington state. He currently focuses his practice through Green River Law, PLLC, serving clients in Washington state.
