About A. Parker
A. Parker Trotz entered the legal field after completing a law degree at Tulane University School of Law in 2013. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Georgia in 2010. Those academic years framed his shift from finance into the practice of law, a shift that became professional in short order.
While at Tulane, Trotz spent a summer as a judicial extern for Chief Judge Sarah S. Vance of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana in 2012. The externship placed him inside federal courtroom routines and daily case management. It provided first-hand exposure to motion practice, opinion drafting, and the pace of federal civil litigation.
Following law school, Trotz joined Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz Personal Injury Lawyers in 2013. He moved into the firm’s litigation practice and has been listed there since. His resume shows steady courtroom and casework experience at that firm over the years. Early responsibilities included drafting pleadings, handling discovery, and preparing files for trial.
Trotz is admitted to practice in Tennessee and before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee. He also maintains memberships in the Memphis Bar Association, the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, and the Tennessee Bar Association. Those memberships keep him connected to statewide developments in civil procedure and trial practice.
At the firm he performs a mix of case development and courtroom advocacy. His work involves client interviews, fact investigation, working with expert witnesses, and arguing motions. He tries cases in state and federal forums when matters proceed to trial. The day-to-day work blends negotiation and litigation: many matters are resolved short of trial, while others are litigated to verdict.
Colleagues describe his role as part of a litigation team in a practice concentrated on personal injury matters. That team-based environment requires coordination across file managers, investigators, and outside consultants. It also means regular contact with clients who are navigating recovery and claims processes.
Outside court filings and client meetings, Trotz’s earlier federal externship remains a reference point for his approach to procedure and case management. It informs how he frames motions and anticipates scheduling in federal cases. He continues to handle civil litigation matters at Nahon, Saharovich & Trotz Personal Injury Lawyers, where his current practice focuses on personal injury litigation in Tennessee state and federal courts.
